The Foundation's purpose is to preserve  and promote the history and  culture of  the Bolivar Peninsula.

The location of the Foundation is 343  Highway 87, Crystal Beach, Texas,  77650, across from Crenshaw Elementary & Middle School.

The property is owned by Don Cherry who has graciously donated it's use to the Foundation where art and cultural activities  may be conducted and displayed and where the public, including students and young persons, may be educated and exposed to  history, art and cultural activities .

Crenshaw Family Cemetery Dedication was on May 8, 2007.  The cemetery is on the grounds of the Crenshaw School which is across the highway from the Foundation.  The land for the School and the Foundation was originally owned by the Crenshaw Family.  In 2003, two descendants  donated the land for the School.  The Atkinson-Wonders family was at the dedication and are also active in the Foundation.
